JML Bothy

We were on the move again with our JML Bothy, this time heading to one of the biggest events on the Scottish agricultural calendar: the Black Isle Show. With our beautifully crafted garden Bothy on display and premium NorDan UK windows and doors featured throughout, we were proud to showcase how practical design meets exceptional quality in one compact, flexible space.
 

What is the Black Isle Show?

The Black Isle Show is largest agricultural event in the north of Scotland, attracting thousands of visitors from across the Highlands and beyond. From livestock competitions and machinery demonstrations to local food producers and homegrown brands, the Black Isle Show is a real highlight in the Scottish events calendar, and we’re always excited to be part of it!
 

What is the JML Bothy?

The JML Bothy is a a compact, high-performance living or working space built using our signature SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels). Whether used as a weekend retreat, guest accommodation, remote workspace, or even glamping pod, our garden Bothy is designed to be energy-efficient, low-maintenance, and built to withstand the Scottish climate.

With a sleek finish, excellent thermal performance, and robust construction, the Bothy shows just how versatile modular buildings can be. 
 

Designed in collaboration with NorDan UK

For this installation, we partnered with NorDan UK, who supplied the windows and doors that complement our SIPs structure perfectly. Known for their Scandinavian durability and style, NorDan’s high-performance glazing helps elevate the garden Bothy's modern aesthetic while improving insulation and sustainability.

We’ve loved collaborating with the NorDan team on this seamless and striking design, and the result speaks for itself!
