Bespoke Garden Office, Bike Store & Sedum Pergola

As part of our bespoke service, we collaborated with Secret Garden Design to deliver a fully customised Highlander garden office for a client in Edinburgh. This project formed one element of a larger landscape redesign and showcases how tailored outdoor structures can elevate both functionality and aesthetics.

Our client’s brief was clear: they wanted a dedicated garden room with pergola and a discreet bike store at the rear to combine practicality with sleek, modern design.

Working closely with the landscape architect and client, we build this office with a solution that blends naturally into the surrounding garden.
 

Bespoke features with purpose

This modern garden office includes several standout features that demonstrate the flexibility and detail of our bespoke approach:

• A striking pergola with a sedum roof, designed and built by our team, which provides a beautiful focal point.
• An overhanging roof section offers integrated log storage, with composite cladding used on this elevation to protect the building from moisture exposure.
• Millboard decking connects the structure with the rest of the landscaped garden, offering a durable, elegant finish that ties the entire outdoor space together.

Every element was carefully considered to ensure the modern garden office would be both visually appealing and highly functional throughout the seasons.
