We are one of only a few Garden Room suppliers in Scotland currently using BBA-rated Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) in our products. This makes our SIP Garden Rooms one of the most environmentally friendly, cost-effective and durable options available in the country.
 

What are SIPs?

SIPs are a high-performance building system ideal for new builds. A strong and durable material, they easily exceed the more rigorous building regulations currently being put in place. They are set to replace the more traditional timber-framed systems of years gone by.

Constructed of a sandwich of Oriented Strand Board (OSB) and a middle layer filled with insulating polyurethane foam, the OSB and the foam are rigidly bonded together, resulting in a strong, stiff, highly insulated panel. 

This technologically advanced building system is perfect for Garden Rooms, studios, office pods and annexes. 
 

What are the advantages of building with SIPs?

SIP structures out-perform other building methods in virtually every thermal and structural category because the insulation is a component of the system rather than an addition. 

Firstly, SIPs retain heat much better than other systems, making our structures comfortable and highly functional. You’ll certainly feel the benefit of the in-built insulation in your garden office, recreational space or studio, particularly in winter. 

As a consequence of this exceptional thermal performance and u-values, your heating and energy bills will be drastically reduced. SIPs are known to be around 50% more energy efficient than traditional timber framing, making our Garden Rooms a truly environmentally friendly option.

Our SIPs structures are up to seven times stronger than a regular timber system, ensuring your SIPs garden building is long-lasting and weather resistant. 

Our standard Garden Room panels are 100mm thick, and all BBA certified. We design and manufacture them offsite in our own ISO-accredited factory. We don’t outsource this work to another company; this ensures that we can get your Garden Room built and up and running in a timely fashion. 
 

As SIPs are built on lightweight Easy Pad foundations, no expensive groundworks or concrete slabs are needed. This allows us to offer our services at competitive prices.
