Roofing & Insulation
Our standard JML Garden Rooms use SIP panels to form the room (all 100mm thick). This provides maximum insulation.
For the roof we use EPDM single ply membrane that is bonded to form a flat roof with a 20-year guarantee and which will require little, if any, maintenance. It will flex and resist all changes in temperature without cracking or peeling, and is totally resistant to atmospheric pollution.
We finish with Firestone RubberCover, which comes with a 20-year manufacturer’s guarantee and a life expectancy of up to 50 years; again giving you 100% peace of mind.
You can choose a different finish for your flat roof, such as sedum (also known as a green roof), or opt for a pitched roof with cedar shingles.
Other options are available, such as slates, reclaimed slates, profile sheets and more.
